International Nuclear Information System (INIS) Database
International Atomic Energy Agency’s reference database for scientific literature published worldwide on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. In 1997 NTIS began optically scanning all technical reports received. These versions are downloadable; publications under 20 pages are free.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is an independent federal agency

The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited
directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global

This web site has free PDF downloading and does not require download of a TIFF viewer, used by the USPTO. On the initial text display page, click on 'View Patent Images' and then click on 'View as PDF', to get a PDF of the full patent. Coverage is back to 1974.
